Running Buckle Series – A youth buckle and an adult buckle will be awarded at the end of the season! Points will accumulate over the 3 running shows with 4 buckle series classes, 3 set classes (Poles, Texas Barrels, & Cloverleaf) and 1 Draw class (Cones, Key Hole, Flag Race, OR Arena) which will be drawn the morning of the show and will run at the time of its pattern. A $30.00 fee per show includes the 4 buckle series classes.
Pleasure Buckle Series – One buckle will be awarded at the end of the season and this buckle series is open to all ages! Points will accumulate over the 3 pleasure shows with 4 buckle series classes: Showmanship, Walk/Trot, Horsemanship/Equitation, & Pleasure. Riders choice of English or Western. A $30.00 fee per show includes the 4 buckle series classes.
The Buckle Series Events are open so you do not have to be a PCSC member.

October 29th, 9:00, Wild Horse Park, is our annual Charity Show. This show is a combined Pleasure and Running Show! With a costume class and ribbons and prizes!! Proceeds will go to McKenna Farms Hippotherapy and Special Olympics!
Our first place winner from last year! This will also conclude our buckle series for the running events!! There is quite a “run” going on for first place!!! In Youth Kara and Dustin will be battling for the title and in Adult the race is between Robin and Stephanie! Please email shelly@highcountrystables for a copy of the class sheet!

Wow, what happened to the summer! We had a great Spring Show season and thankfully took some time off from horse shows this summer as it was so hot!
Our State Show riders are gearing up to head for Perry, Ga. September 2nd to 5th. Congratulations to all! I think we have 13 riders representing the Paulding County Saddle Club.
Kylie Small won Queen and Kara Fuller was awarded the Allison Garner Sportsmanship award! What a great season for PCSC.
September 17th is our next Pleasure Show. The show will start at 10:00 at Wild Horse park and will only have Pleasure classes. No running events.
October 29th is our annual charity show. This year Mckenna Farms Hippotherapy and Special Olympics will share the proceeds. The show will start at 9:00!! This is a combined show with Pleasure and Running!! and will mark the end of our buckle series! Who will be the lucky youth or adult to take home the 2011 Buckle??? We have also added a costume class! Dress yourself and your horse to be judged!!

On behalf the Paulding County Saddle Club we would like to thank everyone who helped our club have such an awesome year! We ended our season at White Oak Park for our annual Christmas dinner and End of Year Awards Banquet! The prizes, games, foods and awards were the best ever!
Several of our club members participated in the Dallas Christmas Parade. Don’t they look blingy!
Our next meeting will be Thursday, January 6th at Stars and Strikes in Dallas at 7:00. Please join us around 6:30 if you would like to eat and chat! Please remember membership dues for 2011 are due!

Paulding County Saddle Club would like to thank everyone who came out to make our show season such a great success. It was an awesome year filled with awards, trophies, ribbons and prizes, though the best is yet to come – End of Year Award’s Banquet. And the winner is……you will have to attend to find out who won their division, who won the Fellowship through Horsemanship and who WON the saddle! December 11th at White Oak Park from 6:00 to 10:00.
