Our first show of the season was last weekend at Wild Horse Park. The sun was shining and it was warm! Thank you to our Judge, our sponsors and all who worked to make the show a huge success.

May 7th is our next Paulding County Saddle Club meeting. We will meet at 7:00 at Ryan’s in Hiram. We would love to see new faces and old!

May 9th is a State Qualifying Show at Wild Horse Park. The show will start at 10:00.

June 20th is the March make-up show and will be an Open Show at Wild Horse Park. Show starts at 10:00!

Due to inclement weather and unsafe arena conditions the Paulding County Saddle Club Show has been canceled. A make-up date will be posted so please check back! We don’t want anyone to miss the show!

March 28th will start Paulding County Saddle Club’s show season. The show begins at 10:00 at Wild Horse Park in Powder Springs. If you are a jumper, runner, pleasure or Racker we have something for you. And don’t miss the cake walks!

Our next meeting will be March 5th at Ryan’s in Hiram at 7:00. Please feel free to join us!

At the monthly meeting, (held at Fatbacks in Hiram), several comments were made about the lack of content on this site. Well - write something!

Send anything you want to write about horses, barns etc including pictures, movies to pauldingcountysaddleclub@gmail.com and we will get it on the site!

We had been spammed! Some idiot in China had infected the site but don’t worry - it’s not catching! And it has been dis-infected!

Let the show season begin!

Our next Open show will be October 25th! Remember, we have an added costume class so start going through the trunks and closets to come up with a unique costume for you and your horse!

The August 16th State Warm-up show has been canceled.

August 29th starts the Perry, Ga State Show! Good luck to all the NWGHA riders.

We have a scheduled Gymkhana/Trail day for September 27th at Paulding Meadows. Sheri Fennell is the show chair for this event. If you have any questions or would like to see a special game or trail challenge please contact Sheri at stsfennell@bellsouth.net.

Lisa Weisert is heading up the Christmas party committee. Mark your calendars for December 13th, 6:00. Remember, members in good standing do not have to pay for their dinners and are eligible for end of year awards and gifts. Lisa is going to need a head count for the caterers no later than October 1st!

Our next meeting will be Thursday September 4th at the Rt 61 BBQ restaurant.

For the High Point Show on July 26th we will have a GRAND ENTRY at the beginning of the show, following the national anthem. Everyone is invited to participate - so saddle up early and be ready to ride.

The Paulding County Saddle Club Drill team is selling rodeo tickets? They’re $10 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-12. Ages 4 & under is free.

If you buy them at the gate they will be $15 for adults and $5 ages 5-12. Please email for tickets and help support the PCSC Drill Team.

Mark your calendars! July 26th is our 2nd annual High Point Show. We have added money to payback classes and are awarding High Point Trophies in 5 divisions. Last year we had a great turnout and are expecting more this year so get to Wild Horse Park early and be ready to ride! Show starts at 10:00.

Our August meeting will be at Dogwood’s on highway 92 at 7:00. If you haven’t been to a meeting in awhile please come out for some fellowship through horsemanship and to share ideas for upcoming club events.
